About us

About Dormeli

Dormeli is an AI baby sleep coaching app that turns your baby's age, schedule, and current sleep struggle into a personalized sleep plan and on-demand coaching, for parents of babies 0–24 months who want a sleep consultant's guidance without a sleep consultant's bill.

Services

What Dormeli does

Five minutes of questions, then a plan you can act on tonight — and coaching that stays with you while your baby keeps changing.

Personalized sleep plans

A guided questionnaire captures your baby's age, current schedule, night wakings, feeding habits, sleep environment, and your comfort level with different approaches. Dormeli returns a plan with a plain-language diagnosis of what is actually going wrong, a single action step for tonight, and a full day schedule with wake windows, naps, and bedtime.

On-demand AI sleep coaching

Ask a question at 2 a.m. during a night waking and get an answer in seconds, informed by your baby's profile rather than generic advice. Basic includes 50 messages per day and Premium 300, which in practice means the chat is there for the whole hard stretch from night two to night five.

A plan that adapts as sleep changes

Your plan is not a PDF that goes stale. Update the profile when a nap drops, teeth come in, or travel wrecks the schedule, and the schedule, wake windows, and bedtime recalculate around the new reality.

A sleep diary that adjusts the plan for you

Log naps and night wakings and Dormeli reads the trend across recent days. When the logged data shows naps consistently running short or long against the plan, it nudges the schedule rather than waiting for you to notice and ask.

Age-by-age sleep schedule guides

Free, openly readable guides covering wake windows, nap counts, and total sleep needs at 4, 6, and 12 months, including what the four month regression actually is. No account needed to read them.

iPhone app and web app on one account

Dormeli runs in any browser and as a native iPhone app, and the same login carries your baby profile, plan, and chat history across both. You can start a plan on a laptop and handle the 3 a.m. question on your phone.

Differentiators

What makes Dormeli different

Measured against the three things parents actually compare it to: a private sleep consultant, a one-time online course, and a static schedule app.

Roughly a hundredth of what a sleep consultant costs

Private infant sleep consultants typically charge $100–$300 per hour, or $800–$2,500 for a multi-week package. A full year of Dormeli Basic is $119.88 — less than one hour with most consultants — and the first personalized plan is free.

Month-to-month, never a package or a contract

Consultant packages are sold as fixed multi-week blocks with a follow-up window that expires, and courses are sold once and never updated for your baby. Dormeli is month-to-month, cancel anytime from your own account settings, with no minimum term and no contract.

Answers at 3 a.m., not within one business day

Most consultant packages promise a reply inside a business day, which is little help during the night waking you are standing in. Dormeli's chat answers in seconds at any hour, because the hours you need help are exactly the hours nobody is working.

A plan that recalculates instead of a course that ends

One-time online sleep courses and downloadable schedule PDFs are written for an average baby at an average age and cannot respond when yours changes. Dormeli regenerates the schedule from your current profile and your logged sleep data, so a dropped nap or a regression updates the plan rather than invalidating it.

No single method pushed on you

Most consultants and courses sell one branded method and expect you to adopt it. Dormeli captures your comfort level during onboarding and keeps the guidance inside it, so a parent who will not do extinction and a parent who wants firm structure get genuinely different plans from the same app.

Honest about being educational, not medical

Dormeli provides educational sleep coaching and says so on every page, rather than borrowing clinical authority it does not have. Anything that touches health, safety, growth, or something that feels wrong is routed back to your pediatrician, by design.

Who it's for

Who uses Dormeli

Dormeli is built for a specific moment in parenting, not for everyone with a baby.

  • Parents of babies 4–12 months old hitting the four month sleep regression, short naps, or sudden night wakings after a stretch of good sleep
  • First-time parents who have priced a private sleep consultant at $800–$2,500 and decided it is not affordable right now
  • Parents of newborns to 24-month-olds who want structure around wake windows, naps, and bedtime without adopting a single branded sleep-training method
  • Parents who have already bought an online sleep course and found it did not answer the questions their own baby raised
  • Working parents returning from parental leave who need a predictable schedule before childcare starts
  • Parents navigating a specific transition — the 3-to-2 nap drop, the 2-to-1 nap drop, a cot-to-bed move, travel across time zones, or daylight saving
  • Employers and family-benefit programmes offering parental support as a workplace benefit
How it works

How Dormeli works

Onboarding, who you deal with, how fast you get an answer, and how to leave.

Onboarding takes about five minutes

You create an account, answer the guided questionnaire about your baby, and your first plan is generated immediately. There is no intake call to schedule, no waitlist, and no card required for the free plan.

Who you actually work with

Day-to-day coaching comes from Dormeli's AI sleep coach, which has your baby's profile and your logged sleep history in front of it. There is no consultant to be assigned to and no appointment to book — that is the part of the consultant model Dormeli is deliberately replacing.

Coaching response time: seconds, at any hour

The in-app chat answers immediately, 24 hours a day, including during the night wakings themselves. Basic includes 50 messages per day and Premium 300.

Human support response time: typically one business day

Account, billing, subscription, and technical questions go to support@dormeli.app and are answered by a person, usually within one business day. Premium members get priority technical support.

Billing and cancellation

Web subscriptions are managed from your profile page and cancel in two clicks; App Store subscriptions cancel through iOS Settings. You can permanently delete your account and all of its data yourself, from either the app or the website.

Your data stays yours

Your baby's profile exists to generate your plan, not to be sold. Deletion is immediate and irreversible, and the full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Dormeli?

Dormeli is an AI baby sleep coaching app for parents of babies 0–24 months. It builds a personalized sleep plan from your baby's age, schedule, and current struggle, then answers your day-to-day questions about naps, bedtime, and night wakings through in-app chat.

Who is Dormeli for?

Parents of babies from newborn to two years old who want structured, personalized sleep guidance. It is used most heavily by parents of 4–12 month olds, which is when sleep regressions, short naps, and night wakings peak.

How much does Dormeli cost?

Your first personalized sleep plan is free and needs no card. Ongoing coaching is $9.99/month for Basic or $19.99/month for Premium, with annual pricing at $79.99 and $159.99 respectively.

Is Dormeli a replacement for a human sleep consultant?

For building a plan and getting day-to-day guidance on naps, bedtime, and night wakings, yes — at a fraction of the $800–$2,500 a consultant package typically costs. For medical or safety concerns, talk to your pediatrician instead.

Is Dormeli medical advice?

No. Dormeli provides educational sleep coaching based on the information you share, and it is not a medical device or a clinical service. For anything involving health, safety, growth, or something that feels unusual, contact your pediatrician.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Dormeli is month-to-month and you can cancel anytime from your profile page or, for App Store subscriptions, from iOS Settings. Unlike a consultant package, nothing is sold as a fixed multi-week block.

What happens when my baby's sleep changes?

Update your baby's profile and the plan recalculates — no new session fee and no waiting for an appointment. Logging naps and night wakings in the sleep diary also lets Dormeli adjust the schedule when it sees a trend.

Does Dormeli push a specific sleep-training method?

No. Onboarding captures how comfortable you are with different approaches and the guidance stays inside that boundary. Gentle, parent-led plans and more structured plans both come out of the same app.

Which platforms does Dormeli run on?

There is an iPhone app on the App Store and a full web app at dormeli.app. One account covers both, so your plan and chat history follow you between them.

How do I contact Dormeli?

Email support@dormeli.app with the address on your account and a person will usually reply within one business day. Sleep questions themselves are faster through in-app chat, which answers in seconds at any hour.
