Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Your baby's sleep details
This policy explains how Dormeli handles “consumer health data” as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law, and similar state laws. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Consumer health data we collect
Dormeli is a sleep coaching service, not a medical provider. Some of what you tell us about your baby may still count as consumer health data:
- Age or birth date, and sleep schedule, naps, bedtime, and wake times
- Night wakings, sleep challenges, and sleep diary entries
- Feeding and routine details, and the sleep environment
- Anything health-related you choose to mention in chat or support messages
- An optional photo of your baby, if you add one
Where it comes from
Only from you, when you fill in the questionnaire, log sleep in the diary, or chat with Dormeli. We do not buy it or collect it from other sources, and we do not collect precise location.
Why we collect and use it
To create, adjust, and explain your baby's sleep plan; to power the diary, plan updates, and chat; to provide support you ask for; and to keep the service secure and working. We never use consumer health data for advertising, and we never sell it. We collect it only after you give consent on the first step of the questionnaire.
Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, to deliver the service:
- Supabase and Vercel — hosting and database storage
- OpenAI — generating your sleep plan and chat replies
We do not share it with advertising or analytics providers or any other third parties, except where the law requires us to (for example, a valid court order).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access it
- Get a list of the third parties and affiliates we have shared it with
- Withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of it
- Have it deleted
You can delete your account and all its data yourself from Account on the website or the Profile tab menu in the app. For any other request, email support@dormeli.app from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days, and may extend that once by another 45 days if needed, telling you why. We won't charge you or treat you differently for using these rights.
Appeals. If we decline your request, reply to our decision to appeal it. We will answer within 45 days, explaining what we did and why. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint or the attorney general in your state.
